At Valla Puppies Home, we understand how exciting it is to meet your new puppy before they come home. We welcome visitors who have placed a reservation or are seriously considering a puppy, but for the health and safety of our pups, all visits are strictly by appointment and a fee is required. 

🐾 Why Visits Are Appointment-Only

Young puppies have developing immune systems and can be sensitive to outside stress and germs. To protect their health, we maintain a clean, controlled environment, and limit visits to reserved families or approved buyers.

This helps ensure:

  • Puppies stay healthy and stress-free

  • No cross-contamination from other animals or environments

  • Each visit gets the time and attention it deserves

🗓️ How to Book a Visit

Once you’ve submitted a reservation or inquiry, we’ll schedule a suitable visit time that works for both of us.

When booking:

  • Let us know which breed you’re interested in

  • Tell us if you’re planning to bring children or other family members

  • Visits are usually arranged after the puppies are 5 weeks old (depending on litter development)

Visits last around 30–45 minutes, giving you time to interact with your puppy and ask questions.

✅ What to Expect During Your Visit

During your visit, you’ll:

  • Meet your puppy and observe their personality

  • See the living space and get a feel for their upbringing

  • Speak directly with our team about health, feeding, socialization, and what to expect next

We’ll also show you:

  • Vaccination records and microchip registration

  • Parents and any breed-specific info

  • What your puppy has been eating, playing with, and used to at home

⚠️ Visit Guidelines

To ensure the visit is safe for all:

  • No outside pets may be brought to the premises

  • Please wash your hands upon arrival sanitiser is provided

  • Wear clean shoes or use provided shoe covers

  • Young children should be supervised at all times

We take biosecurity very seriously to protect our pups and other visiting families.

  • Photos & videos of puppies weekly

  • Video calls to meet your puppy virtually

  • Halfway meetups and Home Delivery across Ireland and beyond
